Chocolate that makes you glow from the inside out.
Canada’s first naturally sweetened chocolate bark made with organic cacao + organic mushroom extracts.
Glowing skin starts in the gut.
Beauty Bark was created at home in my kitchen as a better way to help satisfy my intense chocolate cravings when mother nature paid her monthly visit.
At a time when my skin was already extra prone to breakouts, I was not doing myself or my skin any favours by scarfing down chocolate loaded with refined sugars and highly processed ingredients.
Instead of suffering through stomach aches and breakouts that killed my confidence, I created a product that satisfied my cravings without compromising my health.
Now, Beauty Bark is a daily indulgence that I can actually feel good about. I am proud of the product I created and am SO excited to share it with you too!

This glorious gelatinous mushroom has been used in traditional medicine for centuries and is commonly referred to as the ‘beauty mushroom’ for the astounding role it plays in counteracting the aging process. 🌱
Tremella mushrooms are rich in antioxidants, including superoxide dismutase (SOD) and trehalose. These antioxidants help protect the skin (and body in general) from free radicals. By stimulating SOD production, tremella provides protective and regenerative anti-inflammatory benefits for the skin.✨
Tremella mushrooms contain polysaccharides, which may have immune-boosting properties. One of tremella’s polysaccharides has remarkable water retention properties, enabling it to hold up to 500x its weight in water! Tremella is often used in skincare products due to its ability to make the skin look hydrated and plump. 💧
Tremella contains more vitamin D than any other known single food source, which is vital for helping the body retain and absorb calcium and phosphorus— both critical for building healthy bones. 🦴

Chaga is a type of mushroom that is commonly found in the northern hemisphere, particularly in cold climates. The first recorded use of chaga dates back to 17th-century Russia where it was widely used in folk medicine to cure everything from cancers to gastrointestinal issues. In recent years, chaga has gained popularity in the West as a supplement due to its numerous health benefits. 🍄
One of the key benefits of chaga is its high antioxidant content. Chaga is particularly rich in melanin, and actually contains more superoxide dismutase (SOD), zinc, and melanin than any other single natural source.
Many people are familiar with melanin as being responsible for skin pigmentation, but it’s also important for your overall skin health and is key in maintaining healthy eyes and hair. The more melanin you have, the less sensitive your skin is to the sun and wind, free radicals, solar radiation, and toxins in the air. ☀️
Another benefit of chaga is its ability to boost the immune system. Chaga contains beta-glucans, which have the ability to boost the production of lymphocytes— a type of white blood cell that regulates the immune response to infectious microorganisms and other foreign substances. This makes chaga a popular supplement for people who are looking to boost their immunity, particularly during cold and flu season. 🤒

Did you know that cacao is one of the highest sources of magnesium compared to any other natural food source? 🤯
Cacao powder (not cocoa powder which is used in most chocolate products) is way more than just a tasty treat – there are numerous health benefits to incorporating cacao powder into your diet.
One of the most well-known benefits of cacao powder is its high antioxidant content. In fact, about 10% of cacao’s weight is antioxidants! Antioxidants help to protect our bodies from free radicals, which are unstable molecules that can cause damage to cells and lead to various health problems. Cacao powder is particularly rich in a type of antioxidant called flavonoids, which have been shown to have a variety of health benefits including reducing inflammation, improving blood flow, and even helping to lower blood pressure. 🩸
In addition to its antioxidant properties, cacao powder is also a good source of several essential nutrients. It’s high in fibre, which can help to promote healthy digestion and keep you feeling full and satisfied. It’s also a good source of iron, which is important for carrying oxygen throughout the body, and of course magnesium, which is essential for supporting muscle and nerve function. 💪
Cacao powder can also have a positive impact on your mood and brain health. It contains phytonutrients that protect and enhance the brain including theobromine, which has a similar but gentler effect on the body as caffeine. ☕
Overall, incorporating cacao powder into your diet can provide numerous health benefits, including improved antioxidant status, increased intake of essential nutrients, and improved mood and brain health. 🧠

Cacao butter is also a great source of healthy fats. It's high in monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, which have been shown to help lower cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart disease, as well as decrease inflammation. ❤️
Cacao butter is also great for the skin. It's rich in vitamins and minerals, including vitamin E, which is known for its moisturizing and anti-aging properties. Additionally, cacao butter is also rich in fatty acids, which can help improve the appearance of dry, damaged, or aging skin.

Everyone knows vanilla and chocolate go hand in hand 🤝 But did you know that vanilla beans offer a number of health benefits?
One of the most notable benefits of vanilla beans is their antioxidant content, which have been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties and may help to reduce the risk of certain chronic diseases.
In addition to their antioxidant content, vanilla beans are also a good source of several essential nutrients. They’re high in fiber, which can help to promote healthy digestion and keep you feeling full and satisfied. They’re also a good source of B-vitamins, which are important for energy production and maintaining healthy nerves and skin. 🧖♀️
Vanilla beans may also have a positive impact on your mood and brain health. The seeds contain compounds that may help to improve cognitive function and boost mood by increasing the production of feel-good chemicals like serotonin and dopamine. 🧠
Beauty Bark contains real whole ground vanilla beans. The seeds and pods from the vanilla orchid flower are finely ground into a powder, which is used to add that delicious vanilla flavour you know and love to every batch of Beauty Bark. 🍫
